New Beginnings.

It’s been a busy few months for the KGP fam. There have been many changes here and, well, for those of you who followed my Coming Home updates, this mean that chapter of my life has come to a close.  The end of Coming Home is bittersweet. That little house represented a lot…freedom, strength, creativity, peace, and so much more.  Thankfully, these changes also have great meaning…growth, progress, partnership, love…the list goes on.

The kids and I have made the move to a small, rural town (okay, the middle of nowhere) to join forces with a pretty spectacular individual. A man who has also embraced change and growth. Someone who not only tolerates my creative spirit, but encourages it.  He has really taken to the littles and welcomed us into his home.

Now, while it’s great all being under one roof, combining two households has certainly been a challenge! The inner minimalist (and, ahem, Virgo perfectionist) is screaming a little. Okay…a lot. BUT, we are working on various household projects together and it’s all good! We WILL get situated again.

Our first finished project is the girls’ room. That’s right…all three kids no longer have to share a room! P is loving it! T and G share a space and, while it’s not big in size, I think it turned out pretty cozy. Both girls love it, so I’ll call it a success.

About Kelly Gorney

I am a custom photographer located in Northwestern Pennsylvania. While I still consider myself a portrait photographer, I like to lean toward a “lifestyle” approach, capturing people as they are on a day-to-day basis, rather than a very posed look. Using the natural light is my very favorite way to photograph, so most of my work is done on-location and outdoor. I love what I do and hope it reflects in my work.
