Catherine is a KGP Real Senior who is close to my heart…she’s also my cousin! Catherine is in her final year at Northwestern Senior High School. Here’s a bit more about her!

If you’ve chosen the school or university you’re planning to attend, and been accepted, please share!

I was accepted into the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and into the Honors College, but I will be taking a year off before starting to move there and work.

What are your post-high school plans? If you’ve chosen a school, what will your major be?

I will be majoring in biology to then go onto medical school to become a doctor.

What accomplishments, this year, are you most proud of?

As of now being first in my class (valedictorian) as well as being the secretary of student council, secretary of Nationals Honor Society, and the president of the German Club. Also, finally getting back to my performance level in acrobatics I was before tearing my ACL and having surgery.

What was your favorite part of being a KGP Real Senior?

My favorite part of being a KGP Senior was definitely meeting other seniors, and being able to visit gorgeous place to take stunning photos that no one else can capture.

Catherine, you are amazing! Thank you for choosing to be a KGP Real Senior! XOXO

About Kelly Gorney

I am a custom photographer located in Northwestern Pennsylvania. While I still consider myself a portrait photographer, I like to lean toward a “lifestyle” approach, capturing people as they are on a day-to-day basis, rather than a very posed look. Using the natural light is my very favorite way to photograph, so most of my work is done on-location and outdoor. I love what I do and hope it reflects in my work.
