Thank You! | Meadville Area Photographer

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of my wonderful, beautiful clients for helping to make 2009 such an awesome year.  I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had and how much I enjoyed meeting each and every one of you.  It was a year full of smiles and laughs and for some reason a ton of rain, but we made it work.  It was truly a pleasure and I look forward to working with you all again.  I hope you and your families have a fantastic New Year!  Good bye, 2009.  Look out, 2010!!!!!!!

Bigger Really IS Better | Meadville Area Photographer

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

A fellow photographer that I know made a fabulous blog post about wall portrait sizes and I just *had* to share it!  She does a great job of demonstrating how different sizes will look once they are up on the wall.  I had several clients that have ordered large canvases and prints recently and they just look FAB on the wall!!!  My own wall gallery consists of several 16×24 prints among some 11×14 and 8×10 prints and now that I have them up, I much prefer the 16×24.  SO FUN!!!  Anyhow, check out the fabulous Amy Ro’s blog for her “Bigger Really *IS* Better” post!

MCP Art Show

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

Today was the Meadville Cooperative Preschool art show at the Yolanda G Barco Oncology Institute. What a wonderful event!!  There were fun Christmas cookies, live music and even SANTA was there!!!  They displayed the children’s art work wonderfully throughout the center and all the kids were glowing with excitement and pride.  It was so fun!  We made our way through the halls and admired all of the hard work.  We FINALLY found Peyton’s after our second trip around.  Of course, they both sat on Santa’s lap and gave him “five”, too.  SO FUN!!!  Tatum kept running up to him afterwards to say hi.  She is quite a fan of “the big guy”.  I think she’s just trying to kiss up ;-)

Here are a couple shots from the event.  I look forward to it next year!!!

Cookie Day!

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Today, my dad came over and we baked a couple batches of cookies together.  The kids were in the living room watching (or not) the Santa Clause while we were busy bees in the kitchen.  It was snowy out, so it was a perfect day to do it.  While Tatum was napping (finally), Peyton helped us dip the Snowballs in powdered sugar.  He enjoyed it okay, but he liked it more when he was done. LOL!  Finger licken good!

Oh, the excitement!

Friday, December 18th, 2009

I just LOVE how excited the children all get this time of year.  There is nothing quite like the way their eyes light up with all of the decorations and friends and gifts.  We got together recently with friends of ours to do our little gift exchange and OH MY!  The kids had such a great time!!!

Tina & Travis…thanks again!  It was awesome!

NINE days until Christmas!

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

Oh my!  Where has the time gone??  I can’t believe it is nearly here.  The children are getting so very excited and, to tell the truth, so am I!  I love this time of year so much and with the beautiful snow falling now, it really puts me in the Christmas mood.  Today the kids were playing around in their santa hats and I was able to get a couple shots.  Such silly kiddos!!

Christmas can be so exhausting…

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

I just love Christmas.  I have been recording various Christmas shows on TV and replaying them during the day for the kids to watch.  Well, apparently, that is tough work when you are two.  Haha!  P & T were cuddling on the couch watching when T started drifting off a bit.  It was so cute, so of course, I grabbed the camera.  I only got one quick shot before she snapped out of it.  Anyway, no fantastic shots here, but just wanted to share :-)
