My Boy. | Meadville Children’s Photography

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Ahh, my boy.  Hard to believe he is going to be FIVE soon.  Seems like just yesterday he was a tiny baby that I was holding in my arms.  Where does the time go?  He is so grown up now and so funny.  He helps me (and Tatum) out all the time and makes us proud constantly.  Man, do I love this boy!

He’ll always be my baby boy, though :-)

Just a reminder that mini sessions are now being scheduled, so check it out and take advantage of it if you need spring photos done!

We are also down to the last few days to order the new Gallery Mounts at the special introductory price.

Have a great Monday!

Today I was hoping to do spring pictures with both kids, however Peyton was feeling a bit under the weather.  He was hanging out on the couch and I decided the have Tatum throw her dress on and we ran out and grabbed a couple quick shots.  It was gorgeous out, but quite chilly!  Tatum had fun playing with the “umbrella” and was very excited to wear her Easter dress (can you believe it NEXT weekend??).  Hopefully we’ll have some nice days this coming week and I will be able to get outside with Peyton.  I just love springtime!

Rain. | Meadville Area Photographer

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Yuck.  I had high hopes of taking the kids to the park today and getting a fun 52 weeks shot.   Wrong.  How about freezing cold temps and rain.  Boo.  We didn’t feel like doing much of anything, but we threw our rainboots on grabbed a quick shot of our feet.  It might be the best we can manage for our picture this week.  At least we’re all in it (kinda).  Hehe!

I should also apologize for being a negligent blogger this week.  I should have some more to blog about here in the very near future :-)

Stay tuned!!

Product Spotlight {Session Album}

Saturday, March 20th, 2010

It is a beautiful, sunny Saturday here!  What better to do on such a day than to share another product??  Okay, so there is a lot that I *could* be doing, but since my daughter was napping, I decided to take advantage of those quiet moments and grab a few shots of this fabulous session album.

It is a beautiful, 8×8 black leather album that holds 20 images.  I think it is best described in photo.  It’s gorgeous.  See for yourself!

So, there you have it.  The 8×8 Session Album.  Fab.

Have a very happy Saturday!

Sunshine! | Meadville Area Photographer

Friday, March 12th, 2010

I am so spoiled now.  We have had almost an entire week with SUNSHINE and 60 degree weather!  For those who don’t live in this area, this is extremely rare for us anytime, but especially in March.  The sun makes me so happy.  It makes everything look…better.  Happy.  Fun.  I love it.  I could take yesterday’s weather all year long.  I didn’t even let my one gross encounter ruin my day.  Nope.  I was just thrilled to see the sun.  The kids and I played outside (although we were confined to the driveway because we still have snow and loads of mud).  I even set up the tripod to get our 52 week pic and the kids were deciding what we should do.  It was so much fun!

Here is our “official” 52 week shot (week 10):

(what remote?  I have no clue what you’re talking about.)

And here is a little montage of all their ideas.  All technically correct?  No.  Fun?  Yes.

Thanks for looking!  Have a fab weekend!!!

Sleepyhead | Meadville Children’s Photographer

Thursday, March 11th, 2010

I can never resist my sleepy kids.  Nothing is more sweet, more innocent, than a sleeping child.  I love it.  Tatum had said she didn’t need a nap, but later proceeded to climb into her made bed, pull back the covers and make herself cozy.  She had been sleeping for quite some time when I snuck in there and grabbed a couple shots.  When she started waking up, I just had to keep shooting because she is the cutest, happiest child when she wakes up.  I could never do this with Peyton because he wakes up terribly grumpy.  He would cry for sure.  Anyway, here is how Tatum wakes up :-)
