The L Family | Meadville Family Photographer

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

This weekend, I was fortunate enough to be able to spend some time photographing the L family!  Mom, Tara, is a stylist for the fabulous Stella & Dot and dad, Bill, recently placed 5th in the nation at the NPC National Bodybuilding Championships!  They have two gorgeous little boys and are so much fun!  They showed up in awesome, coordinating outfits and I was in LOVE with Tara’s boots!  We somehow managed to get a very nice fall day, too.  We walked around and found some really pretty spots.  I am very excited about these pictures and hope they are as well!

To the L Family:  Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family.  I had a wonderful time and I hope you enjoy your sneak-peek!!!!

Fall Fun | Meadville Children’s Photographer

Fall.

I LOVE fall.  It is my favorite time of year for so many reasons.  One of those reasons is the GORGEOUS color and light.  The clothes are pretty great, too.  Needless to say, fall is also one of my favorite times of year for sessions!

Today was no exception.  I had an AWESOME session with some seriously adorable kiddos.   We had a BLAST!  They happily obliged when I asked them to play in the leaves.  They didn’t hesitate to strike a pose, make a goofy face, jump, or twirl.  Did I mention how cute they were??  See for yourselves!

To the M family:  Thank you so much for choosing ME to capture this wonderful time.  I had SO much fun and hope you did, as well!  THANK YOU!

Say Cheese.

“Your kids are so good for the camera.”

I hear this a lot.

And it’s mostly true.  My daughter, however, has a lot of…energy.  She likes to be goofy and silly and “crazy”, as she likes to say.  Well, it’s more like “trazy” in her words.  I was actually attempting to get some shots of my son, when Miss Camera Hog entered the pictures.  How could I resist?  As frustrating as it can be, I do love these shots because they are very…HER.

Such a silly girl :-)

Matilda Jane Trunk Show!

Tuesday, October 12th, 2010

Matilda Jane….sigh.

I just loooove Matilda Jane.  It’s a fairly new-found love, but a love just the same.  Not only am *I* fond of the clothes, but even my daughter likes them!  She requests to wear her MJ pieces and for those of you who know her, you KNOW that is a big deal.  I love that their pieces are so unique, so interesting and so fun.  They allow little kids to be…little kids.  If you peek around their site, you’ll even find pieces for the Mommas, too!

I am hosting a Matilda Jane Trunk Show on Monday October 25th to feed my addiction.  They have a couple FAB lines out right now (Field Trip and Sugarland) and since you can only buy them at a Trunk Show, I figured…why not host one?!?!  I think it will be a BLAST!

If you are interested in placing an order, feel free to check out Matilda Jane Clothing.

If you spend $100* or more at the Trunk Show, you will receive a FREE mini session with Kelly Gorney Photography, where your little one can show off their new outfit!  The mini session date will be announced once all orders are received.  The session will be approximately 20 minutes long and you will receive one 5×7 print and one digital file!!!

If you are interested in participating (orders can be taken online through my trunk keeper), please email me!

The Campbell Family | Family Photographer

Monday, October 11th, 2010

Over the weekend, we traveled to a little town in Ohio to meet up with fellow photographer, Amber Campbell and her family for some photo fun!  You might remember their session last year.  Well, since then, they have been blessed with two more gorgeous babies!  Yes, TWINS!  We had an absolute blast together this weekend.  Their oldest is so cute and has gotten so big.  Hard to believe it’s been only a year!  And seriously, can you believe Amber had TWINS three months ago?!?  She looks SO GREAT.

The day turned out to be gorgeous and we were able to get some great shots!

To the Campbell Family:  Thank you SO much for meeting up with us!  You have a beautiful family and I hope you love your pictures!

Sugar n Spice Boutique!

Friday, October 8th, 2010

As the mom of a little girl, I am always on the lookout for cute hair accessories.  I’ll admit it, the things I buy for her hair are as much for me as they are for her.  Maybe more ;-)

That said, there is a shop that I *have* to introduce you to…Sugar-n-Spice Boutique! I ordered a few of her 3″ hairbows and was hooked!  They are made just perfect and they are oh-so-cute, too!

One of her latest products are these soft, organza headbands for babies.  Now, I rarely used headbands on my daughter as a baby because they always left those nasty marks on her poor little head.  These are just dreamy!  They are cute and don’t leave those awful marks.  No to mention they are available in a large variety of colors, too.  Oh, and the best part??  The bow is detachable and can also be worn alone as one of her fabulous hairbows!!!!  Moms, you really need to check these out!  Here are some pictures of my gorgeous little models showing them off :-)

I also have to share some photos I have of her 3″ hairbows.  My daughter wears them ALL.THE.TIME.  Seriously.  She actually ASKS to wear them.  We have them in about every color, too.  They really are just perfect!  She offers a variety of sizes and different styles, as well.  I could go crazy!  You wouldn’t believe how many colors she has, either!!

In addition to being ever-so-talented, she is exceptionally sweet and easy to work with.  She has answered my ENDLESS questions without hesitation.  I cannot say enough good things about her.  Check her out today!!
