The Park. | Meadville Children’s Photographer
Wednesday, July 14th, 2010This morning, I got the kids dressed and we headed to the park for our own little mini-session. I wanted to do an actual shoot with the kids instead of always just getting snapshots here and there. It was a nice morning. Not too hot or sunny. Just right! Here is one quick peek. I’ll be posting more later!
Soccer.
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010Peyton is playing soccer for the first time this year. We are one practice/one game into it and so far, he loves it! It is so cute to watch all of the little ones running around out there. I think it’s going to be a blast! Tatum is also wanting to play now, so I imagine she’ll be signing up next year. So much fun!!
And Tatum loved watching!
Last Day of School
Thursday, June 3rd, 2010Yesterday was Peyton’s last day of school for the year. Naturally, I snapped a couple quick shots of him before we headed off. Here is a quick look back on his first and last days from the last two years…

School Day
Friday, May 28th, 2010Today I decided to take my camera along with me while I took Peyton to school. As I laid in bed last night, I realized that there were only 2 days of school left in the school year and I had yet to take any pictures of him there. So, I followed behind, camera in tow. Luckily, he’s pretty used to the camera being around. So now, here is a glimpse of Peyton’s morning.
Have a happy weekend!

Thursday, May 27th, 2010Happy {belated} Earth Day!
Monday, April 26th, 2010Well, I attempted to post this numerous times last week, but apparently hackers had a different idea for me. Thanks, hackers.
NOW, I would like to wish you all a very happy, albeit belated, Earth Day! I realize that Earth Day was here and gone, and I know most people tend to remember being green and loving our Earth on that day, but I think it’s a great idea to remember to do it year ’round. Even though I feel we could do even more to improve our carbon footprint, I am happy with the steps that we are taking. It is important to our kids future and only fair that we make attempts, however small, to improve it. Even the smallest efforts make a difference. We do things like use reusable beverage containers (the kids LOVE their Contigo cups, recommended to us by Amber), use reusable shopping bags, recycle, unplug things when we aren’t using them, using reusable containers for food, etc. I know there are a lot more things we can do, and we will work on it, but I am happy that, for now, we are taking some steps and showing our children that it is important.
