New Product {Gallery Mount} – Meadville Area Photographer

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

So, as promised in the newsletter, I have another new product to announce for 2010!  Introducing, the gallery mount!  It is gorgeous.  I am in love.  They are 3/4″ thick and available with a black or white background.  This example contains 5 images and is 10″ x 20″.  If you have specific images from a session that you want to use, I can incorporate them into a custom design for you.  It would even be cute with your little one’s name on it!  You can hang them or display them on an easel and are available in a variety of sizes.  I might have a new obsession ;-)

As a bonus, through the remainder of March, I am offering 20% off the purchase of any gallery mount!  Offer ends March 31, 2010.

Happy Tuesday!!

Product Spotlight {coffee table book}

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

This is not a new product for 2010, but it is one that I love and I am finally getting around to sharing photos.  This is the coffee table book.  It consists of 10 pages (20 sides) and it totally customizable.  The pages lay flat, too, which makes looking through it much more enjoyable.   It is offered in three sizes…5×5, 8×8 and 10×10 and can be purchased a la carte, although it is also offered in a couple of my collections.  Here are photos from one featuring one of my 2010 seniors.  This is a 10×10.  Isn’t it purrrrty????

As a side note, I recently sent out my first newsletter. I plan on sending them periodically just to keep everyone up to date on what is going on and inform clients on upcoming specials. If you are interested in being added to this list, please email me at kellygorneyphotography[at]gmail.com!

New product for 2010 {Urban Panel} | Meadville Senior Photographer

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

So, I am super excited about a new product that I am offering.  I saw them and just *had* to get one.  Okay, two.  They are METAL.  Yes, metal.  What is cooler than that??  Not much.  You should see these things…they are practically 3D.  They have shine and depth to them like nothing else.  The colors POP.  I seriously love them.  I have two on hand…an 8×10 and a 16×20.  The 8×10 would be perfect on a desk or in a locker.  The 16×20 would look fab on the wall.  Or on my desk, as it currently resides.  Haha!  I will also be offering an 11×14 size.

Here are photos of them, although the photos truly do not do it justice.  It must be seen to be appreciated.

Bigger Really IS Better | Meadville Area Photographer

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

A fellow photographer that I know made a fabulous blog post about wall portrait sizes and I just *had* to share it!  She does a great job of demonstrating how different sizes will look once they are up on the wall.  I had several clients that have ordered large canvases and prints recently and they just look FAB on the wall!!!  My own wall gallery consists of several 16×24 prints among some 11×14 and 8×10 prints and now that I have them up, I much prefer the 16×24.  SO FUN!!!  Anyhow, check out the fabulous Amy Ro’s blog for her “Bigger Really *IS* Better” post!

Our Wall Gallery | Meadville Area Photographer

Friday, December 11th, 2009

Several months ago, I started planning a new wall gallery for our living room.  It took me most of those months to decide on which photos to use.  I had the general layout done for months and had even purchased several of the pictures, but kept putting it off and changing my mind on pictures and redoing the layout, etc.  One day I actually finalized it.  I laid it all out on my computer and bought the rest of the pictures for it!  Oh…the day those picture came in was an awesome day!  I was so pumped to see them all!!!  While Bryan was at work, I went to town measuring and putting my kids up all over the walls.  :-)  Well, the project is complete and I am quite happy with it.  Naturally, I had to take pics of it to share with you all ;-)

For those interested, I used all mounted prints and attached them to the wall using hook and loop fasteners.  It is peel and stick and super easy to use.  Sizes are as follows:

(3) 16×24, vertical

(6) 11×14, vertical

(4) 11×14, horizontal

(6) 8×10, horizontal

BTW, don’t mind the stockings or the mess.  Thanks for looking!!
