Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

Tomorrow is the BIG day!  It’s the day of my Matilda Jane trunk show!!  The House of Clouds line is now up on the site and I am giddy with anticipation.  I’m sure these things will go quick, but I hope I can get my hands on a few items that I really want.   The show will be from 6-8 at my house, I hope you can make it!  If not, feel free to go online and create a wishlist.  If you email it to me (kelly[at]kellygorneyphotography[dot]com) I can send your order along to my trunk keeper.  If you’d like more info about tomorrow’s event, check out this blog post.  It includes information about the free mini session, too!  Now, run, don’t walk, to the Matilda Jane Site and check out the new goodies!!!!  Hope to see you tomorrow!!!

Matilda Jane Trunk Show

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

Back in the fall, I hosted my first-ever Matilda Jane Trunk Show.  It was a blast!  Everyone was in love with the clothes and so pleased with the quality.  A few people have even asked me to host another one!  I am happy to oblige ;-)

MJC is releasing their spring line, House of Clouds, February 1st and I will be hosting the show on February 2nd.  Check out the MJC blog for little sneak peeks of what is to come (they will have pieces for Mom as well!).  It looks absolutely dreamy!  AND, since these clothes photograph SO well, if you spend $100* or more at the Trunk Show, you will receive a FREE mini session with Kelly Gorney Photography, where your little ones will show off their new outfits!  The mini session location, date and time will be announced once all orders are received.  The session will be approximately 20 minutes long and you will receive one 5×7 print and one digital file!!!  You can check out some of the pics from the last MJ mini sessions HERE.

If you are interested in participating (orders can also be taken online through my trunk keeper), please email me!

Fall Fun: Matilda Jane Style

Thursday, November 11th, 2010

Some of the lovely ladies who purchased Matilda Jane for the kiddos at my recent trunk show were able to partake in a fabulously fun mini-session this week.  Well, we lucked out and had an absolutely gorgeous day!  The little ones had so much fun showing off their new goodies (and I had fun watching!).  We had a couple that proved to be pretty darn good models, too!  I cannot wait to do this again!  It was such a great time and I am seriously in LOVE with these clothes!  Check out our little models for yourself!!

Oh, the fun!

I am getting ready to post a few shots from the Matilda Jane mini sessions this week!  These little ones looked SO CUTE in their new gear!  I have a few more to get together and then I will be sure to share the whole post.  Beware…the cuteness is too much to take!  Here is a quick one of my two in some of their new goodies:

Matilda Jane Trunk Show!

Matilda Jane….sigh.

I just loooove Matilda Jane.  It’s a fairly new-found love, but a love just the same.  Not only am *I* fond of the clothes, but even my daughter likes them!  She requests to wear her MJ pieces and for those of you who know her, you KNOW that is a big deal.  I love that their pieces are so unique, so interesting and so fun.  They allow little kids to be…little kids.  If you peek around their site, you’ll even find pieces for the Mommas, too!

I am hosting a Matilda Jane Trunk Show on Monday October 25th to feed my addiction.  They have a couple FAB lines out right now (Field Trip and Sugarland) and since you can only buy them at a Trunk Show, I figured…why not host one?!?!  I think it will be a BLAST!

If you are interested in placing an order, feel free to check out Matilda Jane Clothing.

If you spend $100* or more at the Trunk Show, you will receive a FREE mini session with Kelly Gorney Photography, where your little one can show off their new outfit!  The mini session date will be announced once all orders are received.  The session will be approximately 20 minutes long and you will receive one 5×7 print and one digital file!!!

If you are interested in participating (orders can be taken online through my trunk keeper), please email me!

Sugar n Spice Boutique!

Friday, October 8th, 2010

As the mom of a little girl, I am always on the lookout for cute hair accessories.  I’ll admit it, the things I buy for her hair are as much for me as they are for her.  Maybe more ;-)

That said, there is a shop that I *have* to introduce you to…Sugar-n-Spice Boutique! I ordered a few of her 3″ hairbows and was hooked!  They are made just perfect and they are oh-so-cute, too!

One of her latest products are these soft, organza headbands for babies.  Now, I rarely used headbands on my daughter as a baby because they always left those nasty marks on her poor little head.  These are just dreamy!  They are cute and don’t leave those awful marks.  No to mention they are available in a large variety of colors, too.  Oh, and the best part??  The bow is detachable and can also be worn alone as one of her fabulous hairbows!!!!  Moms, you really need to check these out!  Here are some pictures of my gorgeous little models showing them off :-)

I also have to share some photos I have of her 3″ hairbows.  My daughter wears them ALL.THE.TIME.  Seriously.  She actually ASKS to wear them.  We have them in about every color, too.  They really are just perfect!  She offers a variety of sizes and different styles, as well.  I could go crazy!  You wouldn’t believe how many colors she has, either!!

In addition to being ever-so-talented, she is exceptionally sweet and easy to work with.  She has answered my ENDLESS questions without hesitation.  I cannot say enough good things about her.  Check her out today!!
