The L Children

January 23rd, 2012

Playing catch-up.

That’s what I am doing (and will be doing) for a while now.  Several clients asked me to withhold from blogging their sessions until after Christmas.  This ensures that their photos will be a complete surprise to all who receive their cards.  I am so excited that I FINALLY get to blog these gorgeous kiddos.  WAY back in August, I met with this family for a session.  Do you know how sometimes things just work?? You photographers know what I am talking about.  Sometimes a session is just…perfect.  Everything falls into place and…works.  Well, that’s kinda how it was for this session.  When mom told me about the outfits she had chosen (LOVE), I had a vision.  I brought a few things along with me and the setting of this old farmhouse and apple orchard was dreamy.  (Thanks so much to Miss J for letting us use your GORG property.)  ANYWAY, I will be blogging this session in two parts so as to not overload you with images.  Here is part one.  I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed the session!

xoxo,

Kelly

Little Miss Baker

January 22nd, 2012

Aww, Miss T.

She is my BIG helper.  For Christmas, she received this awesome cookie play set and has been “baking cookies” non-stop (No, this post isn’t timely.  Don’t judge!).  Santa also brought her the adorable little apron she is sporting.  I couldn’t help but grab a few shots of her as she was in character.  I mean, seriously…isn’t it adorable?!  Okay, I may be biased. :-)  Anyhow, here’s my baby girl!

Mr. D turns ONE!

December 21st, 2011

One.

It’s hard to believe.  I know it’s not MY child, but something about watching a child grow up is just magical.  You may remember Mr. D from his newborn session or his 6-month session.  Well, he is now turning ONE.  I cannot believe it was almost a year ago that I met this sweet boy.  He is now a very active, adorable and lovable big boy!  I had a blast spending a morning with him a couple weekends ago.  He is so happy and so full of life.  Oh, and he likes me!  :-)

I am sure mom and dad are anxiously awaiting this sneak peek, so I’ll get right to it.  Enjoy the images of adorable Mr D!

Mom & Dad:  Thanks again for asking me to photograph your amazing little boy.  It means SO much to me! XOXO

Our Tree

November 30th, 2011

Nothing too exciting here.  Came out of my packaging zone to take a quick pic of our tree.  SO excited about Christmas!  I love decorating the tree, spending time with my family and baking cookies. What are YOU looking most forward to this holiday season??

Thankful

November 23rd, 2011

For kisses.  For giggles.  For throwing leaves.  For ring around the rosie.  For silly faces.

For you.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Alexa: Class of 2012

November 15th, 2011

Miss Alexa.

Beautiful and fun.   That sums up this sweet senior.  I had SO much fun hanging out with her!  She made it super easy to get some great shots.  We tromped through her pasture, hiked through the woods and balanced on fences.  Okay, SHE balanced on fences.  I’m not that coordinated.  HA!  Alexa had some GREAT outfits, too.  You may remember her from Part 1 of her senior session.   SO fun!

Miss Alexa:  Thank you, again, for choosing me to do your senior pictures!  I had a blast and hope you LOVE your sneak peek!!

XOXO,

Kelly

Miss L and Mr. J

November 13th, 2011

Special.

This session was particularly special to me.  I had never met Mom before, yet I already felt like I knew her.  We had chatted countless times before and she will always hold a special place in my heart.  Not only does this mama have these two gorgeous little ones, but she has an angel, too.  Four years ago, a very sweet girl entered this world a little bit earlier than planned.  She spent four months here on earth with her family and now looks over them every day.  I never had a chance to meet her in person, but I will never forget her!  Now, she shines through her little sister…Miss L.  Miss L is SO adorable and so much fun!  I had the opportunity to have a session with her and Mr. J in Cincinnati earlier this month.  She is a curious little girl and loves to run and play with big brother.  Here is a peek into our time together.  I am absolutely thrilled that I had the chance to meet the three of them!!

To Mom:  Thank you SO MUCH for contacting me about this session.  You are as sweet and adorable as I had imagined!  I had a great time and I hope we can get together again in the near future.

XOXOXOXO!

Kelly
